General

  • The Rules of the Beijing Clubhouse concerning Membership and use of the Beijing Clubhouse’s facilities are explained in the Beijing Clubhouse’s Bye-laws and Members' Facilities Directory. The making, alteration, and amendment of any Bye-laws and facilities guidelines shall be effected by the display of a notice on the Beijing Clubhouse’s Notice Board.
  • Members and their Guests must observe the Rules of the Beijing Clubhouse at all times as well as instructions of Beijing Clubhouse staff while they are on the Beijing Clubhouse’s premises.
  • Members should behave courteously towards fellow Users of Beijing Clubhouse facilities and Beijing Clubhouse staff, and respect others' privacy and equal right to enjoy the facilities.
  • Please present your Membership Card when entering the Beijing Clubhouse and when using the facilities.
  • Please take proper care of the Beijing Clubhouse’s property, equipment and facilities.
  • Please observe the dress codes of the Beijing Clubhouse’s dining outlets. The Beijing Clubhouse reserves the right to refuse entry to Members or guests who fail to meet the dress requirements of specific dining outlets.
  • Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied at all times by an adult who is either a Member or Supplementary Cardholder, or has been signed in as a guest, and such adult is responsible for the conduct of children under his accompany.
  • Smoking (including without limitation electronic cigarettes) is not permitted in all indoor areas within the Beijing Clubhouse. Smoking is permitted in designated outdoor areas.
  • Unaccompanied guests of Members staying overnight at the Beijing Clubhouse may use all Beijing Clubhouse facilities and Members are responsible for their conduct.
  • Members shall be responsible for (a) any loss or damage to the property of Beijing Clubhouse or property of other users of Beijing Clubhouse and/or (b) any bodily injury suffered by any user or employee of Beijing Clubhouse, which is caused by the Members or their Guests.
  • With immediate effect, all charges incurred are subject to a 15% surcharge unless settled by the following means:
    • For Members of The Hong Kong Jockey Club, charges settled through a Membership Card.
    • For Beijing Clubhouse Members, charges settled through a commercial credit card with the Member's name imprinted and Membership Card presented.
    • For any Members, digital payment from an account held under the Member’s name with his Membership Card presented.
  • Please switch your mobile phone to silent mode and keep the volume of your phone conversation low while on the Beijing Clubhouse’s premises. Conversing on the phone or video telephone is not allowed in Swimming Pool, Whirlpool and Gym areas.
  • For Reciprocal Arrangements to use members' facilities of The Hong Kong Jockey Club in Hong Kong, please call the Service Hotline for reservations on (852) 2966 1814.
  • No person may take any photograph, video or audio recordings within the confines of any washroom, changing room, sauna and steam room, massage room and swimming pool.
  • Members, Supplementary Cardholders and their guests should respect the privacy of other persons on the Beijing Clubhouse premises, and no photographs, videos or audio recordings of other persons may be taken on the Beijing Clubhouse premises without their consent.
  • No self-brought food is allowed at the Beijing Clubhouse without prior approval from the Beijing Clubhouse.
  • Before using the Children's Play Room facilities, the adults accompanying the children should read and follow the rules and regulations of the Children's Play Room as well as the instructions for using the facilities. To the extent as permitted by applicable law, the Beijing Clubhouse will not be held responsible for any loss, illness, accident, harm or fatality arising from using the Children's Play Room facilities.
  • Please take care of your personal belongings and valuable items. To the extent as permitted by applicable law, the Beijing Clubhouse will not be held responsible for any damage or loss of such items.
  • No pets are allowed on any of the premises in Beijing Clubhouse.
  • Guide dogs for the visually impaired are allowed on the premises of the Beijing Clubhouse, provided that prior notification of the intended visit is given to the Beijing Clubhouse so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
  • Except with the prior written approval of the Beijing Clubhouse, no Member, Supplementary Cardholder or their Guests shall conduct any commercial, political, religious or fundraising activity on the premises of the Beijing Clubhouse.
  • Members or Supplementary Cardholders who have grounds for complaint against other user of the Beijing Clubhouse Facilities or Club staff at Beijing Clubhouse or who wish to suggest improvements shall refer the matter in writing to the Manager of the Beijing Clubhouse. Direct confrontation with other users should be avoided and in no circumstances should any Member, Supplementary Cardholder or their Guests subject another user of the facility or Club staff to abuse or otherwise behave in a manner that is abusive, intimidating, offensive or inappropriate.
  • Club staff are instructed to report infringement of any Rules of the Beijing Clubhouse to the Manager of the Beijing Clubhouse. The Manager or his delegate shall have the power to request any person to leave the Beijing Clubhouse Facilities if his/her conduct in the opinion of the Manager or his delegate causes disturbance to other users of the Beijing Clubhouse Facilities.
  • Infringement of the Rules of the Beijing Clubhouse and misbehaviours will be forwarded to the Manager of the Beijing Clubhouse. For minor breaches of the Rules of the Beijing Clubhouse and minor misconduct, the Beijing Clubhouse will issue a reminder letter to the relevant Member reminding him/her of the conduct and behaviour expected of a Member or user of the relevant Facilities, and the importance of adherence to the Rules of the Beijing Clubhouse.
  • A Member who is alleged to be in breach of the Rules of the Beijing Clubhouse or have committed misconduct of serious nature may be served with a notice under “the Beijing Clubhouse Bye-Laws” requesting him to provide written explanation within a reasonable period of time. Upon expiry of the period allowed for the written explanation by the Member or upon considering the Member's written representations, the case may be referred to the Board of Beijing Clubhouse for proceeding with disciplinary action against the Member.
  • If any Member, Supplementary Cardholder or other permitted user is in violation of the Rules of the Beijing Clubhouse or has committed any act of misconduct as set out in the Beijing Clubhouse Bye-laws, his/her right to use the Beijing Clubhouse Facility and/or the members' facilities of the Hong Kong Jockey Club under the Reciprocal Arrangements may be suspended or revoked.
  • The Principal Member is responsible for the actions of his/her Supplementary Cardholders and Guests and may be subject to disciplinary actions for misconduct committed by the persons using the Beijing Clubhouse Facilities on his/her account.

Membership Cards and Signing Rights

Principal Members may opt in signing rights for their children aged between 12* and 21 who are Children Supplementary Cardholders to have signing rights at the following designated venues at Beijing Clubhouse:

  • Beijing Oi Suen (public area)
  • The Library
  • The Lounge
  • Changing Rooms
  • Massage Rooms
  • Golf Simulator*
  • Gym*
  • Multi-purpose Studio
  • Steam, Sauna
  • Swimming Pool, Whirlpool

* aged 14 or above

Points to note:

  • Beijing Clubhouse Children Supplementary Cardholders’ signing right only applies to Beijing Clubhouse designated venues. Children Supplementary Cardholder with signing right is able to use the above facilities and sign bill on his/her own. Principal Members are responsible for all charges incurred at the Club by their children holding Children Supplementary Card with signing rights
  • Members are responsible for the conduct of their Children Supplementary Cardholders, and undertake joint and several liabilities for such conduct
  • Children Supplementary Card is non-transferrable and shall only be used by the person whose name and photo appear(s) on the card and who must observe the Rules of the Beijing Clubhouse at all times in the same manner as a Supplementary Cardholder
  • Children Supplementary Card must be presented when using Beijing Clubhouse’s facilities
  • Access to eligible facilities is for Children Supplementary Cardholder only. No guests are allowed
  • Access to eligible restaurants is on walk-in basis only
  • Enrollment for recreational programmes, coaching services and booking of studios can only be done through the parent who is the Principal Member or Spouse Supplementary Cardholder
  • Age policy of respective dining venues and leisure facilities apply
