Completion Ceremony of Wuchang Village “Ba Shi Li Zhou Shang” Ecological Restoration Project in Jiangxi Province
Beijing Clubhouse has made a donation towards the “Ba Shi Li Zhou Shang” ecological restoration project in Wuchang Village, Lianhua County, Jiangxi Province through the China Association of Social Workers. The project was officially launched in September 2019. Its main objective is to help restore the ecological wetland located in Wuchang Village and enhance its environment so that it is able to carry out its own leisure tourism activities. The project also aims to help the village develop its collective economy, including its tourism and fishery business.
After extensive construction and integrated comprehensive rectification works over the past year, the project accomplished the development and rectification of the "Ba Shi Li Zhou Shang" river basin, including the rectification and removal of riverbed clay sediments over a 150,000 square-metre area, and the completion of embankment grouted rocks and 500 metres of constructed dam grouted rocks at the upstream current cofferdam.
The completion ceremony will be held in Wuchang Village on 23 September 2020. We welcome any Members who are interested in this project to join this meaningful event and witness the completion of this project together.

- Since this is an event purely for public benefit, all expenses generated should be borne by the individual participant. This includes: travel expenses (air tickets, trains, etc.) from other regions to and from Jiangxi, local transportation, accommodation, spending on food and beverages, and admission fees for various tourist sightseeing areas, etc. The itinerary is being arranged by the Lianhua County Government Office.
- Admission fees for Wugong Mountains are RMB60 per person. Ganxing Hotel rates are RMB228 per night for a standard room. (Rates are for reference only. The actual price will be determined according to the local situation.)

There is the possibility that the COVID-19 pandemic or other uncontrollable factors may cause the postponement or cancellation of the trip.
