National Archaeological Museum of Athens: The Antikythera Shipwreck

Twenty centuries ago, a Greek ship sank off the island of Antikythera. Discovered in 1900, it was carrying luxury goods – bronze and marble statues, pottery, fine glassware and jewellery – as well as an analogue computer that could predict astronomical positions and eclipses centuries in advance: The Antikythera Mechanism. This is a rare opportunity to view this ancient scientific wonder.
