“Drop Of Treasure” The 12th Charity Wine Dinner of Beijing Hong Kong Jockey Club Clubhouse

To embrace the spirit of “Riding High Together for a Better Future”, the 12th Charity Wine Dinner “Drop of Treasure” will take place on 1 November 2019.

Mr Gilles de Larouzière, owner of Domaine Bouchard Pere & Fils, Champagne Henriot as well as top Chablis vineyard Domaine William Fèvre, will come to Beijing from France to be our guest of honour. He will bring along 14 items of vintage wine and 7 carefully selected bottles for pairing with the dinner. The charity auction this year will feature 18 items including 3 fine artworks. We also had the honour to have Sotheby’s senior director Mr. Robert Sleigh to preside over the auction.

The vintage wines that will go under the hammer at “Drop of Treasure” are nearly a century old. They are precious treasures that embody the finest winemaking traditions, and their sale reflects The Hong Kong Jockey Club’s commitment to giving back to society. We look forward to enjoying a wonderful, meaning evening with you.

Net proceeds from the event will be donated to the ZhongShe Social Work Development Foundation under the Ministry of Civil Affairs, to improve the livelihood, education, medical and rehabilitation services in underdeveloped areas.
