Don'ts

swimming pool
  • Use the foot bath and shower before entering the pool
  • Wear a swimming cap in the pool at all times
  • Wear the slippers provided by the Recreation Centre when entering the pool area
  • Follow the instructions given by Club staff and lifeguards
  • Seek prior approval from a medical practitioner if suffering from a medical condition
  • Allow to use photographic, video devices and mobile phones (converse on the mobile phone or sending, receiving voice messages)
  • Enter the pool when feeling unwell or having skin diseases, infectious diseases, heart problems, cuts or bruises or under other body conditions not suitable for swimming
  • Undress or get dressed in the pool area
  • Smoke, spit, litter, eat or consume alcohol beverages
  • Bring glassware into the pool area
  • Engage in rough, noisy or irresponsible behaviour in the pool or surrounding area
  • Use lilos, water guns, beach balls or engage in ball games of any kind
  • Use floatation aids and rescue equipment such as public ring buoys without permission from the lifeguards
  • Use flippers, snorkels or face goggles
  • Engage the services of swimming coaches other than those appointed by the Club
  • Consume alcoholic beverages, or swim after consumption of alcoholic beverages
  • Dive from the edge of the pool, or attempt to dive, run, horseplay, walk around the pool area without wearing slippers or at any other behavior which may cause danger around the pool area
  • Allow minors under the age of 14 to swim alone without being accompanied by their parents or other adults
