About Beijing Clubhouse

The Hong Kong Jockey Club has a rich history spanning over 130 years and in 2008, the first Membership Clubhouse outside of Hong Kong opened its doors in China’s capital city, Beijing. Since then, the Beijing Hong Kong Jockey Club Clubhouse has been welcoming Members from Hong Kong and all over Mainland China.

The magnificent Beijing Clubhouse is situated in the prestigious Wangfujing area in the heart of Beijing city. Also known as “The Golden Avenue”, Wangfujing is within walking distance of historical landmarks such as the Forbidden City, Tian’anmen Square, The Palace Museum, Imperial Ancestral Temple and Zhong Shan Park. The buzzing Wangfujing pedestrian shopping street and the largest shopping complexes in Beijing are also within easy reach. Architectural Style

The architects of the Beijing Clubhouse have chosen to blend the traditional courtyards of the Ming and Qing Dynasties with contemporary architectural concepts to create a masterpiece of modern aesthetics. Housed inside an exterior of ancient Chinese craftsmanship, the Beijing Clubhouse is a state-of-the-art establishment which exudes imperial splendor. The four gardens are themed according to the four seasons, mirroring the harmonious union of the earth, humans and the celestial.
